My name is Kevin and I performed as a professional clown and juggler named Duffer at many local events many years ago, mostly around the Metro-Detroit area. Such events as the Hob Nobble Gobble, Detroit's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Plymouth's 4th of July Parade, Royal Hanneford Circus at Palace of Auburn Hills, as well as many company parties / picnics for well known companies and organizations.
I have also donated my time to charities and entertaining folks in nursing homes & hospitals for those that need some love and attention and don't get chances to get out to see the world.
I received training through the University of Wisconsin, Lacrosse Clown Camp Program under the direction of Professor Dr. Richard Snowberg. As well as other workshops in the Detroit area for juggling and clowning.
I took a break to discover other talents and skills, but am returning to perform. Each event setting may call for something different and therefore I may or may not dress like a clown to perform. "There is a time and place for everything."

Reverse Busking
Some of my services may be different than your average performing artist/entertainer. You might notice that I don't wear the usual makeup as a clown. This is by design, to allow me to seem more human to those that have clown phobias. Besides, clown makeup is for stage and circus shows where we want you to see our facial expressions from the back row. That is the purpose of makeup! When up close, it isn't completely necessary. It becomes tradition. If you are interested in traditional clown makeup, I offer this as an additional service, as well as other additional services like balloon sculpting.
I can offer to perform and interact at your events such as fairs, festivals, schools, community and company parties and picnics as a juggler/entertainer. I prefer to perform as a walk-about or strolling entertainer, engaging with folks in a casual social setting, and interacting with the people face to face, even letting them try some juggling for themselves, or other related activities. But I assure you people of all ages will have fun! They may even take home a new talent/skill they never thought they would have, as well as some great memories! Your guests become part of the show and experience!
Juggling Therapy doesn't just provide entertainment, but offers an opportunity to have a new way to exercise, meditate, rehabilitate athletes from injuries, disabilities, depression, anxiety, self esteem and confidence building, among many other benefits! As a performer, I introduce my skill in juggling and interact and teach and allow spectators of ALL AGES to try out different dexterity activities! Juggling Therapy can be compatible with physical, occupational and recreational therapies! Since the very process of learning to juggle, scientifically shows to grow grey matter in the brain, this is also a great opportunity for educational events at schools, libraries, or homeschool programs. Balloon Sculpting
Duffer can also offer balloon sculpting, his favorite is crazy balloon hats! I will need about 2 months advanced notice with 50% deposit to hold your date so that I can be sure that I have the supplies needed for YOUR EVENT!
This is my Electric Green Bike
It is my main mode of transportation! It keeps me lean & green! It is an electric tricycle with a cab over it, similar to a car to travel in all seasons. But it is also a mobile billboard for sponsors. I can bring my Green Bike to your event and perform using this transport as an attraction.
